[Solved] 404-error on changing language from edited URL?
Jan 27, 2014 11:15 am by claesbas
I'm not sure this is suppose to work like this but have a look at: http://en.alanyapenthouse.net/alanya/about-alanya I have edited the URL to fit a good English structure. But if I on that page try to click on one of the other languages then I run into a 404-error ... Is that like it should? Or is there a way to at least send them to start page ? I'm thinking people might Google in English find my page in English and then they see that ah, its available in German and clicks that and gets a 404-error.

yup, that seem to have fixed the error. The linking is to the default language though ? But I guess that is correct right?

Hi, I have noticed that you are specifying canonical URLs in your source code. Please move <meta name="uri-translation" content="on" /> to top, so it will be before the rel="canonical" definition. Thanks!
