Although my host has white listed the ip, I still get the message appearing now and again. A temporary fix (lasts 72hrs) is achieved by my host manually 'throwing a switch' somewhere. They tell me that due to the excessive connections being made by Gtranslate, my host thinks it is a DDOS attack. They have asked is there a way you can limit the number of connections it is making to my host ? p.s. this is the Enterprise service, and apart from this, it has always worked like a dream !

Hi, Our server is not attacking your server. It is not from our IP address. You will see our IP address instead of the visitor's/bots IP because all the requests for the translated pages go trough our server. You should analyze your traffic and block spam bots on your server.

Hello again. I spoke to my host who has looked at the logs - they ruled out bots as they say it is something hitting them just from 94.23.220.123 and their most 'educated guess' is that after performing whatever task is being done each time, your server is not closing the sql connection - and they are staying open. Any ideas on this one please ? thanks very much.

Hi, It is our proxy IP address and we send also the real IP address, they can check that instead. If connections stay open you need to check your files and make sure to close the connection each time it opens. It is on your side and nothing more at this time cannot be suggested. Thanks!
