Jreviews Gtranslate Problem

Hello, I am having a problem with Jreviews not working properly in a foreign language. I have contacted their support who say: Hello The captcha is loaded via ajax when the review form is opened. This is the output in english: {"captcha":"<img id=\"captcha\" src=\"http:\/\/www.seedadvisor.eu\/cache\/1421946319.48.jpg\" width=\"100\" height=\"30\" style=\"border:0;\" alt=\" \" \/>","token":"c34e7fa30c462660f936f9d0cad2d0cf"} And this is the output in the other language: {"Captcha": "<img id=\"captcha\" src=\"http:\/\/www.seedadvisor.eu\/cache\/1421946196.jpg\" width=\"100\" height=\"30\" style=\"border:0;\" alt=\" \" \>"," Žeton ":" c34e7fa30c462660f936f9d0cad2d0cf "} I don't know what you are using for the multi-lingual features, but as you can see it is obviously messing up the ajax response by incorrectly translating the "keys" of the json object. No extension/plugin should ever do this." It appears that gtranslate is translating token to zeton which is stopping the captcha from loading. Even without the captcha activated review posting does not work as other words are translated which should not be. I wondered about adding a notranslate class but they say: "You can't add a 'class' to a json object. The json object is output in /components/com_jreviews/jreviews/controllers/common_controller.php, in the _initForm function. And all json responses in JReviews come straight out of the /components/com_s2framework/s2framework/libs/cms_compat/joomla/framework.php, jsonResponse function. All I can say now is good luck!" Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, The ajax response Content-Type header should be set to application/json, if it is set to text/html it will try to translate it which will make a mess. Thanks!

Hi Edvard, Thank you for your response. I passed this information to the Jreviews support and they said: ""We have several clients using JReviews with GTranslate without problems. All ajax responses that return a json object already have the Content-Type header set to application/json. You can clearly see that on your site using Firebug http://screencast.com/t/Dsjcvn309 That is the response from the call to generate the captcha and the Content-Type is correct. If you are having this problem then maybe your GTranslate version is out of date or they introduced a bug recently or something else on the site is causing the problem. Please have them check the page and the ajax response when you click on the add review button or the submit button in the review form. "" Maybe there is a problem elsewhere or in the Gtranslate code? Thank you for your time. Regards, Anthony

Hi Edvard, Thank you for your response. In order to replicate the issue please follow this link: http://www.seedadvisor.eu/de/seed-strains/auto-power If you then click on the Write a Review button or the "bewertun schreiben" button as it is in German, you'll notice that the security code does not appear. You'll also notice that the username is not able to be checked against the DB because of another word being translated that should not be. If you switch to English you can see these problems do not occur. Thank you for your time. Regards, Anthony

Hello, Perhaps if you could give me an idea of what might be causing the problem I could also look into it? If the code wasn't all encrypted I could probably alter it to stop the problem. The website is unfortunately not usable as a foreign language user until I can figure out why it's translating ajax requests when it shouldn't be. Thank you for your time. Regards, Anthony
