We´ve a new Joola 1.5.x component on our site. It´s called "FPSS" (Frontpage Slideshow) by JoomlaWorks http://www.joomlaworks.gr/content/view/24/34/. The shown text is not accessible by the GT-Editor, although it´s a pure html-text-output. I have a problem like that, see troubleshotting Gtranslate Pro number 6: 6. When I select a language I'm being redirected to a URL with the language code, but I still can see the original language. - Make sure the API key is correct, read 5. - Enable debug: define('DEBUG', true); in gtranslate/config.php, delete cache/limit.txt if it exists and refresh the page. After that you will see a debug.txt file inside gtranslate folder, where you will see the communication between your server and google translator. Check the request URL for a translation and the response. If you have reached the daily limit for your API key you need to wait. If you get a Bad Request then the API key is incorrect. - Make sure that you didn't reach the daily translation limit for your API key. - You can get another Translate API key and check the usage statistics from https://code.google.com/apis/console/ - If you see SSL CA certificate error, ask your hosting provider to fix that issue for you. If it is not possible to fix and/or you don't care, you can set SSL_VERIFY_PEER to false in gtranslate/config.php (available since v3.1415). In my case i have reach the daily trabslation limit for my API key, and after insert the slideshow doesn't translate...

Welcome to the club I´ve doublechecked the log-file. Seems no prob. To clarify: Automatic translation is done "well". But it´s not able to reach the needed button for manual translation of the slideshow. It´s just not there Once again, link to manual mode: http://goo.gl/fDvoP Regards, alt_f4

Hi, I think that the <img>s are hidden with CSS. There was a similar issue and if you search in this forum you will find the solution. Currently I have very limited internet access and cannot check that for you with Firebug, since I'm on my cell phone.

Found! There are 2 lines around line 65 needed. In the acual Version FPSS 3.0 the sytax is differnt, but similar... Removed... .fpss-template-jj-rasper .slidetext p img {display:none;} .fpss-clr {clear:both;float:none;height:0;line-height:0;margin:0;padding:0;border:0;} ...and now it works like a charm.
