Jooma installation not in root folder

The site is located on a directory localhost / [folder]. Joomla is installed in this directory. GTranslate Pro redirects in url localhost / fr / [folder] but not found any pages. How can I fix it? Regards

As mentioned in the readme.txt file you need to install it in the www root, not inside the directory. Also you need to create a .htaccess file in the www root if you already don't have it and put the RewriteEngine On and # gtranslate config block into it.

Edo is right; what's the hassle in re-installing on root or public_html or whatever. You can view sample of .htaccess files online. Pretty easy to create; actually. ----------- Cheers

whichroot folder is that actually the root? for all sites on a host or the root of the website My setup is: server: webroot = /share/web/ sites: per website a folder: /share/web/site1 , /share/web/site2. So where to put grtanslate?

The www root is the folder where you have index.php file. If you put a.txt file in your www root you will be able to access it http://domain.com/a.txt .
