No translation for home page gtranslate & joomla 1.7

Hi,
I have installed gtranslate on my joomla 1.7 site (under construction), and i've setted french/english translation using on fly/jquery method with flags.
==> the issue is that the translation works for all the pages except the homepage.
(it's the same behavior for the site hosted on local machine, or for the one hosted on 1and1 server)
Can you please help me on that point asap...

Make sure that you have only one jQuery library loaded on your home page. Check the troubleshooting for more info.
