You don't have appropriate license...
Oct 26, 2011 12:32 pm by natastna2
Hi, I bought Gtranslate Pro for my domain www.smellstoppers.com. I'm using the cached Pro version for most of the pages and for the cart pages I'm using the free on-the-fly version. I keep on hitting the error message: You don't have appropriate license for your www.smellstoppers.com. Please purchase GTranslate Pro license or go back. I have Gtranslate Pro working on another site without these error messages and am not sure what I am doing wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Regards, Anthony.

I cannot experience that error on your site.

Oct 26, 2011 12:59 pm by natastna2
Hello Edvard, to encounter the error please follow these steps: go to www.smellstoppers.com and cilck on the japanese flag, then add a product to your cart and you will be redirected back to the English language cart, then when in the cart click on the japanese flag to activate the on-the-fly translation and then click on checkout and the error should appear.
Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Oct 26, 2011 1:30 pm by natastna2
You can cause the error simply by visiting the cart and using the flags and then checking out, it doesn't have to be Japanese, it can be anything. I have this method working on another site I've bought Gtranslate Pro for, www.seed-city.com. I'm not sure why it would work on seed-city but not on SmellStoppers.

When I go to http://www.smellstoppers.com/ja/cart it redirects me to http://www.smellstoppers.com/cart?lang=ja&url=cart . Why that happens? Did you set a special rewrite rule?
Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Oct 26, 2011 9:51 pm by natastna2
Hello Edvard, I just sent you an email in response. Yes, I've set up a load of htaccess rewrites as this is what I had to do previously to avoid any errors. I appreciate that things may have changed but I always hit a blank page when checking out if I'm in a language cart like ja/cart. Hence the rewrites. I emailed you my admin username and pass and will now email you my FTP details if you would be so kind as to take a look. I very much like the idea of not having to do these rewrites and having different languages being able to checkout in their own language areas.

Hello Edvard, I will leave it with the problems so you can see what is wrong. If you could please take a look at some point soon I would be grateful. I have emailed you all of my details. Thank you for your time. Regards, Anthony.

Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Oct 27, 2011 4:42 pm by natastna2
Thanks Edvard, please feel free to remove the htaccess redirects I've created if it helps to diagnose the problem. I guess if I removed the redirects and just went with the Joomla version my only problem would be the blank screen on checkout.

Hi Edvard, sorry to pester you but I was hoping you might have some more information as to the problem?
Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Oct 30, 2011 11:12 pm by natastna2
Hello, I have removed the htaccess redirects and attempted again just to use the Joomla 1.5 version. If I remove all the htaccess redirects I just get a 404 page not found error on all pages. I have no idea how the Joomla 1.5 version is meant to work, the readme makes it sound like the only steps you have to follow are: installing the plg_translate.zip and enabling the plugin but that just results in 404 page not found errors. I then followed the instructions in the other readme for other sites and it worked but I get blank pages on checkout. If you could please just help me to install the Joomla 1.5 version and get it working then maybe that would solve the problem.

Do you have some SEF plugin other than the default one? If you can give temporary admin access we can look into for you.

Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Nov 1, 2011 10:32 pm by natastna2
Hi Edvard, Thanks for your time. It does seem to work now. My only worry is that say if you are on the homepage and you click on a language flag you are taken to www.mysite.com/de which is good but if you click on any of the article links at the top of the page, the nose image, the Stop sign or the Smell stopper bags picture you are taken not to www.mysite.com/de/article but www.mysite.com/article. It is the same thing if you are on the front page and click on a language flag then click on the first category picture on the front page, the big one that has The Smell Stopper bag in the bottom left, it takes you correctly to http://www.smellstoppers.com/de/smell-p ... topper-bag However, click on the next picture along from the homepage and it takes you to: http://www.smellstoppers.com/heat-seal-bags Could you please tell me why one of them works properly and one doesn't? Is the difference the link itself or do you think it could be the cached SEF links? Once I've fixed this problem I will be very happy :-)

There's also still a problem in that no foreign language users can complete the checkout. If they attempt to checkout on the second stage of the checkout they are redirected back to the cart which then says your cart is empty. You can see the problem by checking out, you can use the username tester and password cheese to save time in creating an account. Regards, Anthony.
Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Nov 2, 2011 2:00 pm by natastna2
Hi Edvard, I also get a 500 Internal Server Error when checking out in a foreign language on the first step when I am using Google Chrome, Firefox gets to the second stage and then reverts back to an empty cart.

Hello Edvard, Any luck? I tried turning off JoomSEF and attempting to check out as a foreign language user but the result is still the same with being redirected to an empty cart. Thanks for your time. Anthony.

Hi, It seems to be a Virtuemart template issue. Can I change the VirtueMart template to default one to test it?
Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Nov 10, 2011 7:16 pm by natastna2
Hi Edvard, Yes, feel free to change the template temporarily or anything else in order to find the problem. I don't want to rush you and I appreciate your help but I could really do with some sort of resolution to this problem. Thank you for your time. Regards, Anthony.

Hi, I have solved the invalid HTML syntax of your template, now it should be OK, please check.
Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Nov 11, 2011 11:48 pm by natastna2
Hello Edvard, I still have the same problem in when I try to check out as a foreign language user I just get redirected back to the cart. You can replicate the problem by checking out as user tester password cheese. I have 3 more sites running on a variation of this template and I was hoping to eventually have gtranslate on them all. Are you able to check out as a foreign language user? Thank you for your time. Regards, Anthony.
Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Nov 13, 2011 5:33 pm by Edvard
When I check it out it gives me error that I need to select a different shipping method, but now it doesn't empty the cart. The same happens on the default language. Do you experience the same issue as before?
Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Nov 13, 2011 9:39 pm by natastna2
Hi Edvard, Yes, I am still hitting the same problem in IE, Firefox and Chrome. When I go to check out as a foreign language user, I get to the shipping address part, I then click next and am immediately redirected back to an empty English (default language) cart. I am not sure how you are getting passed that stage, are you using a different browser? Thank you for your time. Regards, Anthony.
Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Nov 13, 2011 9:51 pm by Edvard
Hi, Did you change some configuration option connected with shipping? The HTML syntax error was in the shipping method selection template.
Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Nov 13, 2011 10:57 pm by natastna2
Hi Edvard, I don't think I've changed anything in the shipping methods file. When you say there was incorrect syntax in one of the files, can you give me a file name and I could try switching it for other versions. I just tried quite a few different things and it would appear that it works when I switch my Virtuemart theme from Vamazing to default. Joomsef and the bonus products module would appear to cause no trouble with it. If the default version works then I would expect the problem to lie in the components/virtuemart/theme files for vamazing. Would it be possible for you to have a quick look there and see if anything seems out of place? Regards, Anthony.
Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Nov 13, 2011 11:38 pm by natastna2
Hi Edvard, Could you please let me know what you changed previously as there is now an extra /DIV before the ja-coll div which knocks the left sidebar down to the bottom of the page on the Shipping Address and Payment Method page. Thanks, Anthony.
Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Nov 14, 2011 2:44 pm by natastna2
Hi Edvard, After finding that the checkout process worked with the default template. I narrowed the problem down to the template/checkout folder and by trial and error found the problem was with 3 files, get_shipping_method.tpl.php, get_shipping_address.tpl.php and get_final_confirmation.tpl.php. Replacing these files with the ones from the default template seems to have solved the problem and I can now checkout in all languages. I also found that the links cannot be index.php? etc links but must be /smell-stoppers SEF links for the language code to be put in before them so I've changed that now and it all seems to work fine. Thanks for all your help and I'm sure I'll be back to pestering you again once I've got Gtranslate in on my other sites. Regards, Anthony.
Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Nov 14, 2011 2:44 pm by natastna2
As for the extra DIV, I seem to have solved that by removing the end /divs from those 3 files.

Hi Edvard, the only thing I'd like to know now is if you look at page 2 of this conversation. I am planning on updating the Gtranslate Pro I'm using in Seed City to the Joomla version and I already have a lot of pages cached, would it be possible to keep this cache, as in move it across to the Joomla Module or would I have to start the cache again if I upgraded. Also, on page 2 I was having a problem using Artio Joomsef with the Joomla module and it was hitting a 404 Error all the time. You fixed this but I have no idea how, if you could let me know what you do to make it work with Joomsef I will not need to bother you in the future quite so much :-) Thank you for your time, Anthony.

Hi Edvard, On a page like this: http://www.smellstoppers.com/bg/uv-stas ... -stash-jar when you click on the small pictures, they fail to load as it is adding the country code to the start, is there any way to stop it from doing it for the pictures? Regards, Anthony. The code responsible for that section is: <div class="yagendoo_vm_fly1_inner"> <?php foreach($yagendoo_images as $image) : ?> <div class="yagendoo_gallery_item"> <a class="modal" href="<?php echo $image['fullsize']; ?>"> <img <?php echo $attr; ?> src="<?php echo $image['fullsize']; ?>" alt="<?php echo $product_name ?>"/> </a> </div> <?php endforeach; ?> <div class="yagendoo_clear"></div> </div>

Nov 15, 2011 1:22 pm by Edvard
Hi, Seems that you have fixed the template issue. Can you change the template to add class="nturl" to the <a> wrapper tag for the images? I can see that it already has a class="modal", so you need to change it to class="modal nturl".

That works great Edvard. Thank you very much. There's just two last things I could do with knowing and then I can leave you alone :-) the only thing I'd like to know now is if you look at page 2 of this conversation. I am planning on updating the Gtranslate Pro I'm using in Seed City to the Joomla version and I already have a lot of pages cached, would it be possible to keep this cache, as in move it across to the Joomla Module or would I have to start the cache again if I upgraded. You can convert the cache. The cache format for non joomla version is in JSON. The joomla version uses raw format. The cache name is the same. If you check it will be very easy to convert. If you have made edits manually you can only convert .human files in the cache the rest will be translated again. Check the system plugins order to fix that 404 errors.
Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Nov 16, 2011 5:48 pm by natastna2
Hi Edvard, That's great thanks. I have a huge cache but haven't made any alterations so I should just be able to convert it all. I see when you mention changing the order of the plugins that the Artio JoomSef system plugin is now much further down the list and I assume that's what I have to do to fix the errors in the future. When you say that it should be easy to conver the JSon files to Raw format can you please let me know if you are aware of any programs I can use to automate the process? Thanks for all your help Edvard, I'll be sure to buy a few more Gtranslates! :-) Regards, Anthony.
Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Nov 16, 2011 7:59 pm by Edvard
This should do the trick: // convert cache files in gtranslate/cache/ru directory $dir = 'gtranslate/cache/ru'; // get the files list from the $dir $files = scandir($dir); foreach($files as $file) { if($file == '.' or $file == '..') continue; $file = $dir.'/'.$file; $content = file_get_contents($file); $data = json_decode($content); $raw_translation = $data->data->translations[0]->translatedText; // replace the old file with the raw format file_put_contents($file, $raw_translation); }

Nov 16, 2011 11:00 pm by natastna2
Hi Edvard, thanks for your time. I'm not very sure how to use what you've given me. Can I just enter that code into a .php file and run it from my server so I could call the file convert.php and just run www.seed-city.com/convert.php? Could you please let me know how I can specify the output file or will this code simply overwrite the old files with the new ones? Also, I see that the code specifies the /ru directory. Would I have to do this separately for each language cache or can I remove the /ru part and run it over the entire directory? Regards, Anthony.
Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Nov 17, 2011 12:20 pm by Edvard
Hi, Yes, you will need to create a php file and place the code into it. You will need to specify correct path for $dir variable and you will need to run the convert.php for every language. But don't run it two times if you don't want to break the cache.

Thanks so mcuh Edvard. Your help has been worth the money alone. I don't seem to have received the latest version of Gtranslate for http://www.seed-city.com/. It is the Joomla module I am most interested in. Can you please send it to my email: [email protected]. Thanks again, regards, Ant.

Hi Edvard, is the Plugin only usable by one site or will it work fine if I use the plugin that you gave me for SmellStoppers for Seed City or do I need you to send me one for Seed City? Regards, Anthony.
Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Nov 20, 2011 8:29 pm by natastna2
My Seed City version is quite old anyway so I guess it doesn't matter as I'll need to update it all anyway. Please send me the latest version for http://www.seed-city.com. Regards, Anthony.

Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Nov 21, 2011 12:27 pm by natastna2
Hi Edvard, I've tried removing the HTaccess redirects from the old version, I then installed the plugin, put in the Bing translator API key and enabled it but I just get: Site error: the file /home/connectc/public_html/seed-city.com/plugins/system/gtranslate.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the website operator. If you are the website operator please use the ionCube Loader Wizard to assist with installation. Ioncube must be installed as I had the other version of Gtranslate working perfectly. I'm not sure where I'm going wrong. Thanks, Ant.
Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Nov 21, 2011 12:32 pm by Edvard
Hi, Put the info.php file from the package into /home/connectc/public_html/seed-city.com/plugins/system folder and access it with your browser. May be the ionCube is enabled on www root folder but not for subfolders. BTW. There is no need to add Bing Translator API key, you can just leave it blank.

Hi Edvard, You can access the php file through: http://www.seed-city.com/plugins/system/info.php Thanks, Ant.

OK, I can see that ionCube is loaded for administrator too, but it is not loaded in the www root folder. You can check it here: http://www.seed-city.com/info.php

Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Nov 21, 2011 3:04 pm by natastna2
Hi Edvard, I had a php.ini file in that folder which was apparently over-writing it. I have now got ioncube working fine but am now hitting a 404 error on the translated pages as I was in Smell Stoppers. I have moved the artio joomsef plugin down the list of plugins but am still getting the error. I will pm you my admin and pass if you could take a look I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Ant.
Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Nov 21, 2011 3:43 pm by natastna2
I've reverted back to the old method so you'll need to enable the Gtranslate system plugin and remove the extra htaccess rules to user the Joomla module version and see the 404 errors. Thanks again, Anthony.
Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Nov 22, 2011 10:28 pm by natastna2
I'm guessing that since the problem seems to be very similar to the one I was hitting with Smell Stoppers, I must have to re-order the system plugins differently than they are but I'm not sure in what order they should be in seed-city.com. Is it just the artio plugin and the Sef plugin which have to come after the Gtranslate plugin or is there anything else as I have tried ordering them this way but still hit the 404 errors. Thank you. Ant.

Hi, I have checked the configuration seems everything is identical. Can you try to update your seed-city Joomla version from 1.5.18 to 1.5.22?
Re: You don't have appropriate license...
Nov 24, 2011 1:15 am by natastna2
Hello Edvard, I cannot update Joomla due to the large number of core changes I have made. I have attempted to put it back to how it was before by disabling the system plugin and re-enabling the gtranslate module you disabled but I am still getting 404 pages. Please can you put it back to it's previous working order? Regards, Anthony.

Hello Edvard, The site has re-directed all international customers to the 404 page for the last 14 hours. Can you please undo the changes you made yesterday so it will work with the non-Joomla module version as it was working. This is very important to us. Regards, Anthony.

Hello Edvard, I see, it was just the htaccess redirects that had been commented out. It seems to work now. I'm away at the moment but will be back in a few days and will have a look at updating Joomla then. Thanks for your time. Regards, Anthony.
