What is purpose field for Google Translate API Key?

I have just purchased and installed GTranslate Pro on Joomla.
It seems to work fine.
However in the plugin configuration settings, there are two fields called:
Google Translate API Key
Bing Translator API Key
Both are currently empty.
What is the point of these two fields, as they are currently blank and GTranslate Pro seems to work fine?

Hi,
If you can obtain Google Translate API key (which is commercial) or Bing Translator API key (which has some free limits) you can place your keys there. However there is no need for that.

Hi Edvard,
I've an additional question when using Bing translation: if I activate a Bing code in the plugin, will Gtranslate still use the local cache or will it use the (limited) free cache from Bing?

It will use the local cache. It uses API only for new translations.
