Specifically: I am using Google Analytics, but I have not selected that option in GTranslate (and never had). I am using the On the Fly method of translation; when I uncheck the "Load jQuery library" option (which is what I'm assuming your troubleshooting page means when it says "unload the jQuery library"), GTranslate still doesn't work--and the lack of a jQuery library shows up as a page error.

Related question: Is there an advantage to using the "On Fly" rather than "Google Default" method, aside from the flag icons? Any substantive difference in content?

I have the same problem. Not sure how long it's been like that as I didn't check it after upgrading Wordpress to 3.3.1. http://www.valleyandvalecommunityarts.co.uk I did troubleshoot but no response to clicking flags or dropdowns. I deactivated the most obvious plugin culprits but no response from your plugin. I visited Metacred and their problem looks the same. I'm running GTranslate version 1.0.32 Thanks update: also not working on one of my other sites http://www.blackcatweb.net and this uses different plugins to the other.

Solution? Damn! Google has discontinued its free translation API service: http://code.google.com/apis/language/tr ... rview.html The closest alternate solution is to use Google translation with their widget, so you can put this code into a text widget or something like that: http://translate.google.com/translate_tools

. . . which brings me back to my last question: Is there any advantage to using On Fly rather than Google Default? With the complete lack of support received from GTranslate (through here or email), I have disabled it and directly embedded Google Translation into my site header--a much more elegant and functional solution.
