Backlinks on my website to gtranslate.net

I found the following backlinks to your website from mine. I didnt allow them and I dont see a place to disable them. I think this is a very sneaky way to get links in and because youve done it in 2 places , one hidden - I think it would have negative impact on our SEO. WHY IS THIS? 1) Your Widget has a title , this title links back to your website. 2) In my footer I found some code: <noscript>JavaScript est nécessaire pour utiliser <a href="http://gtranslate.net/">GTranslate</a> <a href="http://gtranslate.net/">Traducteur site</a>, <a href="http://gtranslate.net/">Traducteur du site</a>, <a href="http://gtranslate.net/">traduction automatique</a>, <a href="http://gtranslate.net/">réseau de prestation de traduction</a>.</noscript> I hope there is an option to disable and I hope there is a good explanation.

Of course it is possible to remove the links, it is for free users. I think if you are using a free plugin you should be grateful and be able to give something back, so backlinks are the best way to say thank you.

I *was* an Enterprise Customer. Part of the install says I have to install the Plugin. So I have no choice. Your placement of backlinks was hidden and sneaky and should be clear. Normally plugins give an option and generally Webmasters will allow the backlink . Im not wasting anymore time replying here. I hope other customers take note.

It is your choice. If you call you a webmaster you should know your way around.

That is not a good way to treat your customers. I may know how to take this out of your code , others would not.

If you don't want backlinks and cannot remove it yourself you need to find a developer for you to change the code. Our code is licensed under GNU/GPL. Or you can stop using our widget.

If you don't want those links, just edit mod_gtranslate/tmpl/default.php and comment line 40. What's the matter? Anayway , links included between <noscript></noscript> labels are practically useless for backlinking and in some cases like THIS, are not considered black hat seo practices. That message appears if you disable javascript in your browser configuration and it's there just to help you and explain you why the module doesn't works and who is the developer.
