We use Accept-Language request header set by most browsers to detect your preferred language.

ERROR! Your browser is not setting preferred languages header.

Languages Detected by JavaScript

We use "navigator.languages" JavaScript variable to detect your browser language. Languages are sorted by preference with the most preferred language first.

How to change Google Chrome browser language?

  1. Open a new tab and in the address bar type chrome://settings/languages
  2. Under "Preferred languages" section click on Add languages
  3. Select the language(s) you want to add and click Add
  4. Next to the language added click the three dots and check Display Google Chrome in this language
  5. You can also reorder the languages in the order of your preference or remove from the list
  6. Restart your browser for the changes to take effect

How to change Firefox browser language?

  1. Open a new tab and in the address bar type about:preferences#general
  2. Scroll down and under "Language" section click on Set Alternatives...
  3. Click on Select a language to add... dropdown and select Search for more languages...
  4. Select a language from the available languages list and click Add
  5. You can also choose your preferred languge for displaying pages by clicking Choose...
  6. You can add, remove languages or reorder them in the order of your preference in the list
  7. Restart your browser for the changes to take effect

How to change Opera browser language?

Opera browser is based on Chromium, so the steps are similar to Google Chrome browser.

  1. Open a new tab and in the address bar type opera://settings/languages
  2. Under "Preferred languages" section click on Add languages
  3. Select the language(s) you want to add and click Add
  4. Next to the language added click the three dots and check Display Opera in this language
  5. You can also reorder the languages in the order of your preference or remove from the list
  6. Restart your browser for the changes to take effect

How to change Microsoft Edge browser language?

Microsoft Edge browser is based on Chromium, so the steps are similar to Google Chrome browser.

  1. Open a new tab and in the address bar type edge://settings/languages
  2. Under "Preferred languages" section click on Add languages
  3. Select the language(s) you want to add and click Add
  4. Next to the language added click the three dots and select Display Microsoft Edge in this language
  5. You can also reorder the languages in the order of your preference or remove from the list

How to change Safari browser language?

Unlike other browsers Safari uses macOS language defined in "Languge & Region" settings.

  1. On your Mac choose Apple menu → System Settings → General then click on Language & Region
  2. Under "Preferred Languages" section click on +
  3. Select the language(s) you want to add and click Add
  4. Drag the newly added languge to the top of the list to make it primary
  5. You can also reorder the languges in the order of your preference or remove from the list
  6. Restart your browser for the changes to take effect
