500 error - file not found

Just installed the free version of GTranslate 3.7.4.

I'm running it on an old site with Joomla 2.5.28 and receive the error > 500 - JHtml: :jquery not supported. File not found.

Information I have found is that JHtml jquery was only introduced in Joomla 3 - not 2.5, but the download link says it's for 2.5 and 3+ ?
