Error message after editing translation

Hi,
when we edit the translation, we get the error message "Please provide a translation". It used to say "Success" but that´s now gone... Can you help us out please - thank you.

Also: it doesnt ask for the login details any more before we start translating...
I am sure it's something simple but i can#t get it figured out... thanks again.
