Error occured during Gtranslate Installation

Please excuse me for asking such silly question. I'm just totally new with things I am trying to do for my wordpress. Also tried to find the answer from the past posted Topics but in vain.
Symptom:
- Doesn't get activated in my Wordpress but results with an error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class gtranslate in /www/htdocs/w00c5e80/wp-content/plugins/gtranslate/gtranslate.php on line 34
- Under the acitive state with the error kept, clicked on Gtranslate in the setting section, I get the other error:
Fatal error: Undefined class name 'self' in /www/htdocs/w00c5e80/wp-content/plugins/gtranslate/gtranslate.php on line 90
Help me to get my wordpress running with Gtranslate.

Hi,
put: AddType x-mapp-php5 .php in your .htaccess and test it.

Hi,
You are using PHP version 4, you need to update it to version 5. Ask your hosting provider how to do that.
