GTranslate conflict with Featured Content Gallery

I just tried out GT (free) for the first time tonight. I put it in a widget in my sidebar. Worked like a charm...except my Featured Content Gallery slideshow became a white screen, even after I switched back to the original language. I had to remove the file from the widget and simply put the [GTranslate] code in individual posts, which is arduous and time consuming.
Is there a known fix for the FCG issue, or is there a way to auto-place the code into every Post?
