My host reports "php issues with that software, verify that is compatible with php 5.3.8 or higher" Should gTranslate work with this version of PHP? Thanks!

I think that Item 3 on the list means that PHP JSON library is included by default for PHP 5 >= 5.2.0, not whether any particular version of PHP is minimum for gTranslate.

I don't know that I can get any more details...they've already spent time helping me troubleshoot. The errors were like : Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 805306368 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 800593921 bytes) in /{path}/httpdocs/gtranslate/translate.php on line 104 This is a complex situation where I used Akeeba to import a jUpgraded 1.7 instance of a working 1.5 site. I didn't overwrite the /cache directories when I installed the 1.7 version, because the cached /edited translations are valuable. I think I'll need to retain you on a consulting basis to untangle this one.
