Forum Archive - [Solved]Gtranslate PRO Unicode problem

Web http://www.dvblab.com been created in wordpress and running with free gtranslate well till now. All pages created in UTF-8. After PRO activated every time have to change pages encoding in browser manually to UTF8. Does anybody affects by the same issue ? Just in case disable PRO version, all things function well. So I ask support to resolve this in PRO. Been checked on Firefox, Opera and Chrome. Only Opera shows correct results. Спасибо. Alexander.

Hi, You need to add <meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />

Of cource it is installed. Control Panel -> Settings -> Read settings -> Encoding for pages and feeds -> UTF-8 I think it is some misunderstanding. I told you what then I switch PRO version to FREE - everything OK. But there is no ability to edit translations, the ONLY options paid for.

Finally I just added this tag manually to the system and all run smoothly. The only disadvantage is to do this after each system upgrade
