Gtranslate with HTTPS

Hi there,
I would very much appreciate if someone could take a look at my site. I use gtranslate pro, some of the languages we use just produce nothing. when I select the language it just stays in my regular language (English)
Some of them work?
I'm now trying to get gtranslate to work after enabling https on my site.
We have an EV Certificate that I want to use throughout the entire site. if I access the front page of the site using https://www.domain.com it works perfectly, when I select a language aspects of the site disappear.
Also, changing languages at different areas of the site also does not work..
I have not forced SSL on the site yet as it is not working well enough to force it. but you can access it with https://www.justshopok.com if you want too.
Please can you let me know if you have any ideas?
Thankyou,
David

Dear David,
If you have entered API key which is an optional feature make sure is correct or just remove it. Please enable GTranslate debug mode and check the request URL for a translation and the response in the /gtranslate/debug.txt file.

Yana,
My apologies for the slow reply, i've been very busy!!
In december, the translations stopped working, so I switched and changed the Bing option to true and put a bing API key in there.
Are you telling me this is not needed now ?
What i'd really like is the most up to date version of gTranslate pro and a description of what I should have in my htaccess file.
Are google charging for their translations still? surely If I remove all the api keys and turn bing off, it just won't work ?
I need some guidance please. I know little about how the translation process actually works.
Thankyou
David

Yana,
Could you please provide me with an up to date version of GT Pro please? The documentation doesn't even describe the version I have which was dated in December 2011 I believe..
So, I can remove the key from the bing option, but what if I disable the bing and go back to google? what is the policy on the translations at the moment, can people still use gtranslate with google without paying for the translations?
Thankyou.
David

Hi,
Just sent. Please check your e-mail.
Yes, you can remove the Bing key. GTranslate Pro works without API. It's an optional feature.

What does enabling the optional feature give you? I dont see why there would be options to enter both a bing and a/or a google key, if they don't actually provide any benefits?

Also, why does the pro version now contain a plugin? What does that plugin do? do I need it to be installed along with copying all of the gtranslate folder to the root also?
thanks
David

The paid version of Translate API removes the usage restrictions.
There is no need to install both the Joomla plugin version and the General version at the same time. Please read carefully the documentation: https://gtranslate.io/docs/57-gtranslat ... umentation
