Forum Archive - [Solved] using GTranslate Enterprise with Cloudflare

Dear Edward, I have been using GTranslate Enterprise for the last two days and it was working great. However after activating Cloudflare services, the GTranslate Enterprise subdomains are no longer reachable. Is GTranslate Enterprise compatible with services like Cloudflare or are there any particular settings I should be using. Cloudlflare services does required change of our nameservers- would this be the problem? Many thanks in advance Bijou

on passing subdomains via cloudflare the following error message is produced. You've requested a page on a website that is on the cloudflare network. Unfortunately, it has to resolving an ip address that is creating a conflict vithin cloudflare's system. If you are the owner of the website, you may login to cloudflare and change the dns A records for the domain to hold to a different ip address. Does this mean that it wouldnt be possible to use the cloudflare caching alongside gtranslate? Bijou

Hi, The caching will still be possible since all the static content on your translated pages will be loaded from your original website which has the cloudflare enabled in the DNS configuration of cloudflare. However for the language subdomains you will need to disable the cloud, so it will bypass cloudflare.
