Backup the site without chace

Hello,
i ver got a site with gtranslate pro module running http://raeucherwerk.biz
i have seen that gtranlate creates very much chache files.
how is it when i want to restore the site (upload backup) maybe after a failed update.
is it possible to skip the chache files while uploading the whole site? does the site will run then normally?
the download takes about 5-6 hours, upload with chache files will then take then about 25-30 hours

You may skip the gtranslate cache folder from your backup.
