broken image links over flags on mobile?

Hello!
Thank you for the fantastic plug-in! It works great for simple translations!
I am noticing that when viewed on Android (untested on iPhone) broken image icons appear over the flags... any idea why?

Hi,
You are trying to load https://www.homestaylife.com/wp-content ... /blank.png but the SSL certificate is untrusted .

Does the plugin require SSL certification?

Hi,
It doesn't require SSL certificate. However for some reason when you are on http website, it tries to load the flags from https website, which shouldn't happen. Have you modified any code?

Hi,
I have only made some small CSS changes in the WP editor for the Zerif-lite theme. I have made no other changes...
