implement plugin on WP?

I have created the above site via WordPress.
I installed the GTranslate plugin successfully, however, I do not see it working/active on the front-end. I do not see anything in the readme file that shows if I should be implementing it via code to the theme files - though there is a clue that I should be in some text that refers to a span tag for keeping some text from being translated.
Can anyone direct me to what I am missing?

It is a widget and you should add it to your sidebar, so it will be visible.
