Joomla mod_gtranslate doesn't use module parameters

Hi everyone,
i just installed mod_gtranslate for Joomla 1.5.22, and the module doesn't seem to interprete the settings made in the Joomla-Backend. I echoed some parameters in the default.php, but it just returns the default values...
Anyone had this problem before??

Try to turn off the caching for the module or clear joomla cache.
