Pre-Purchase Question: Will the pro version of the Joomla module and plugin allow me to select a default language to be automatically translated into? I don't need to have a language detection or anything, just have it automatically load into the French translation of my english text without having to select it from the list first. If not, will be feature be available soon? Or can I edit the code to do so?

You can just redirect all your users to http://domain.com/fr/ and that will do the trick.
