Hello, Can GTranslate look at the default Joomla user records to see the default language which has been set in their profile so that each time a user logs in the site is automatically displayed in their language of choice. Cheers Nick

Hi, If you're using PRO version you can set "Detect User Language" to "YES" which you can find in GTranslate plugin Basic Options. This will enable detection of user predefined language.

But does it detect based on info in their profile, or in their browser settings? Does it just automatically work for any of the languages that are activated?

Does a language need to be turned on in the admin panel in order to detect that language setting? Does this work for the Enterprise version as well? I see the setting in the admin panel.

Hi, 1. Yes, you need to enable the language. 2 It is possible to detect language from browser settings for The Enterprise version but we do not recommend it. If you want you can ask your developer to write a code which will detect user browser language and redirect to the appropriate URL.

I don't see an option to migrate to the pro version. Shouldn't Enterprise be able to do everything Pro can do?

Hi, We do not recommend using auto detect feature and it is not included in Enterprise version. However, if you want that feature, it is possible to code on your end, so based on joomla user predefined language your code will redirect to appropriate language URL. Thanks!

Hi, Currently we do not offer Pro version. However Pro version had only detect option based on browser predefined language, and not the joomla user language. We never recommend using that autodetect option. Thanks!
