Could not find an XML setup file

Hi, I'm getting: Error! Could not find an XML setup file in the package. When I try to install it.
Using Joomla 1.5x
Changed the cache directory to 777, but no avail. Help please.

Hi,
Please unzip the package first and read installation.txt file.
