Flag selects the wrong language

Hi hope someone can help
I have Gtraanslate language module installed on joomla 3 and i have installed it in position 30 into the header of an artisteer template.
When the page first loads and you click the english flag, it loads afrikaans language, then when you click back on the english flag it reverts back to english,
it only does this once on each page laod?
can anyone help

The site is english,
The first flag is the english flag but when its clicked it loads the next langauge in the sequence which happens to be afrikaans,
Can you help?
