Google Translate API suggesting wrong language variation

When I enable Google translate API as the Machine Translation provider in my Wordfast Pro 3 for Brazilian Portuguese, it suggests translations using the European variant of Portuguese, not the Brazilian one.
Does it happen to anyone else?
Is there a way to set it so I do not get the wrong variant suggestions?
Does it happen in other languages?
Thanks,
Using Wordfast Pro

Hi,
Do you have GTranslate license? What is your website address? Google Translate doesn't have Brazilian option for Portuguese yet.
