Hi Edvard,
I have upgraded, cleaned both SH404SEF cache urls (in case) and J1.5 cache and the translation urls are broken... Use to work very well til now (1300+ urls in Google.)
Thanks.

There were no need to clear any cache. If you see 404 errors for translated URLs, then please check the troubleshooting: gtranslate/troubleshooting-gtranslate-pro-t368.html

Did you change anything in .htaccess?
Make sure that you didn't change file permissions to 777. Files should have 644 permission.

Just checked, no change. I replaced the files as instructed in your email using FileZilla, no change in CHMOD.

Very well actually, mainly switching between French and English for checking and manual translations where necessary. I have it on 3 sites now, only this one did not work.

I'm not sure that you did everything correct. Can you switch back to the old version and make sure it works?

That will take quite a while with the 500MB file size...

I really don't understand. What is that 500MB? You just needed to replace the old files with the new ones actually 3 of them in gtranslate folder.

You just need to place the old gtranslate files back and make sure that it works as before, why you are complicating it.

I have done manual translations and would not like them to vanish. Will try without replacing the cache folders.

I did not tell to replace folders. You need to replace the files only.

Folders content has not been changed. This can not be where the problem comes from.

I now get the pages but only the menus are (and partially) translated.
All cached folders content is unchanged with a very long cache date.
I get Japanese to display (only bottom menus are translated, they use to be fully translated):
/ja/house/universe/ferdinand-hediard
French is broken from that same page:
/fr/house/universe/ferdinand-hediard
And when I navigate away from the japanese page, it comes back to English:
.. try in the top menu COMPANY>>KEY HISTORICAL DATES
The most confusing is that I received your patch and update my 3 websites at once using exactly the same procedure.
2 of them work fine, this one only has a problem.

Absolutely it was, and I just asked my hosting provider to do a direct server restore before the upgrade. It works fine now. I am doing the upgrade again today.
