Forum Archive - [Solved] Pro Version: No Translation/ special character

Hello after buying an installing the Pro Version from GTranslate I have some problems. Hope that the support can solve them. System Information: CMS: Joomla Version 1.7.3 GTranslate: New (all from 19 december 2011) Native language: German Problem 1: Not translated sites. On some sites the translation works, but on some there is no translation, and I dont know why. Im not using the notranslate class at this time. Example where the translation works: http://www.canoeguide.net/vorbereitung/wolf-baer-vielfrass-und-ein-echter-killer If you know press the English flag, you can see that the text will be translated. Fine! Example where the translation does not work: http://www.canoeguide.net/angeln If you know press the English flag, the translation does not work. Or better it only makes the German Text ugly. Its still German. Problem 2: Problems with Special characters (ä, ö, ü, Å) If you are going to the site: http://www.canoeguide.net/kanutouren-schweden-uebersicht and then switch to English you can see that in the text and also in the menu are problems with the special characters. And I don’t know why? Problem 3: Click on a banner does not open the link In German you can click on a banner and it will open the linked site from the banner. Original German: http://www.canoeguide.net/kanutouren-schweden-uebersicht/s-01-lappland-uebersicht/9-s-01-005-kaitumaelven-a If you switch to English (or a other language, maybe you speak Swedish) and click on then the banner it will only open a blank site. I ask for this feature when I´m evaluate the Free Version of GTranslate. There was the answer that this is solved in the Pro Version. Sorry it was my fault For Joomla 1.6.x & 1.7.x versions use plg_gtranslate-1.7.zip For other websites including Joomla 1.0.x, WordPress, Drupal and Magento you need to follow directions in general/readme.txt file. This was my mistake ... I followed also the instruction for Joomla 1.0.x. I have other questions ... but this will be a new post (after Christmas) The three problems are solved ... or better never exist .... looks that I have now a website in 17 languages ... fine
