sub-directory issues

hello ive added the .htaccess settings to the root directory
when i click on translation
Not Found
It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try a search?
what would cause this problem?

Hi,
Please remove GTranslate rules from .htaccess file. Go to GTranslate settings page disable/enable sub-folder URL option and save the settings.

so i am still looking for a solution. I did as you said and the web site does still not provide a sub directorys. please advise I did pay for this service.
