Hi,
You can change the code to look like this
$wp_plugin_url = 'http://xxxxxxx.com/Agenzia/plugins/gtranslate';
instead of:
$wp_plugin_url = trailingslashit( get_bloginfo('wpurl')
).PLUGINDIR.'/'. dirname( plugin_basename(__FILE__) );
You need to install the Pro version in your www root directory, not inside the wp-content, please read the readme.txt file and follow the instructions. Feel free to write here if you have issues.

You need to move # gtranslate config block right after RewriteEngine On line.

Good. Probably you have placed a wrong API key. Make sure that it doesn't end with &q.
After that clear cache/XX folder contents manually.
