Forum Archive - IE, DIV tags, Pro version

Hi Yana, I have installed the free version and it works amazingly in everything except Internet Explorer. I know the issue is a closing DIV tag somewhere in the template. I can not find these missing or the developers errant template code. Validation only shows 28 errors, mostly due to YouTube code, and a couple of DIV tag issues. My questions are; 1. The Pro version comes with installation, dues that include finding/fixing these so it works? 2. Does the TDN suffer from the same issues if I upgrade to your monthly service? After looking at everything on the market, you are years ahead of your competition. I need to make your excellent module work! I can PM you login credentials if you want to check. Hi, The GTranslate Pro and Enterprise are for all valid HTML websites. As to invalid HTML sites, we cannot predict the behaviour but it's absolutely risk-free to use GTranslate.

That's a shame Yana as you have a great product but almost no website today is HTML valid. Most designers use templates from places like RocketTheme and JoomlaXTC and none are 100% HTML valid. For instance, your own "Features" page registered 13 errors on validation! http://patrickdoyle.com/images/stories/gtranslate/gtranslate-errors.jpg You need to make your product more forgiving for Internet Exploiter as there are dozens and dozens of us who would be glad to buy your extensions except they do not work in Internet Exploiter! Goodbye and good luck as I will have to use a different, more forgiving solution!

We just require that there are no HTML end of tag errors which is important. Other validity issues are not important. Thanks!
