Flag always doesn't show up, always only drop-down list

Hello,
I have checked all possible setting for flag to show up, yet it just doesn't, there is always a drop-down list only.

All i need is two language flags, English and Russian.
It is Joomla 2.5 with custom template.
Any ideas what else should i try?

Hi,
The flags are working with Redirect and On Fly translation methods.
