I just installed the pro version. Follow instructions but certainly something is missing.
Maybe by going on on the site you will be able to pinpoint why no translation is done?

When you click on a flag, it goes to http://theplanetfixer.org/fr/ for example but the text stays in English!

Fixed! I rechecked everything and realised that I had pasted the rewrire rules at the far end of the .htaccess file. I added it as per instructions right AFTER RewriteEngine On line.
This fixed this issue!
