Slow loading page

Hi there,
translated page is always slow. I've checked this page gtranslate/troubleshooting-gtranslate-pro-t368.html#3 and accordingly set gtranslate/cache/XX folders permissions to 777 however after visiting a translated page, I'm NOT able to find files in the appropriate language folder, could this be the reason?

Do you use Redirect translation method with Pro option on in the language selector settings?
After choosing a language it should redirect you to the URL with appropriate language code selected, does that happen?
