GT Translate enterprise - where is the service?

Hello,
we started two weeks and more ago with Gt Translate enterprise.
Following your suggestions we surfed our site: quite all pages in all languages to support system to complete translation.
But:
- some urls remains with % flag and untranslated.
- page are not indexed, if we check site:en.mangiamando.com, (or de, fr, nl, pt, es, ja) we get less than 20 pages (the url indexed are more than 500 in the original language) and 80% of these indexed pages have a wrong url (untranslated).
Where is the service we paid?
How users can view our site if it's not indexed, or bad indexed?
How many days we expect to wait for a multilingual indexed site?
We are very sad......
Giovanni

Hi Giovanni,
Can you post the URLs which remained with %?
You cannot force Google or other search engines to index your pages right away, it takes time. So as you see there are already indexed pages in different languages and over time the number will grow.
Sorry for the confusion caused, but we provide the translations on your new language subdomains like en.mangiamando.com. As you see your pages are in English. If you are having issues with the translations please let me know.
You need to treat en.mangiamando.com and other sites as a new websites and do SEO like you did for your mangiamando.com website, for example post links to your website on other websites, etc...
Let me know if I can do something for you.
Thank you!

Hello Edvard,
thanks for your answer.
Our site has, today, 508 indexed url, so with 7 translation languages, there from a total of a little bit more than 4000 urls. So i can't check any page...
But, here's some samples:
http://en.mangiamando.com/recipes/antipasti (url not translated: antipasti is a italian word)
http://en.mangiamando.com/recipes/antip ... ato%20bun- (the same plus % flag)
http://en.mangiamando.com/recipes/cours ... ed%20squid (only % flag).
The indexed pages ARE WRONG!!! (with url untranslated) and give a 404 error!!!
and in webmaster tools i got a lot of error (soft 404, 404, 500, 502) on pages with url like en.mangiamando.com or de., fr, (all).
There's only one or two page right translated.
I know well how google works, until now it's not a rank page problem, IT'S A INDEX PROBLEM. Google works with bot and the bot index all the pages that it finds, not today one and next week five......
I'm not joking....so please don't joke with me.
You cannot submit sitemap to google with a lot of wrong urls and untranslated pages, but i think that is very hard from your customers surf EVERY URL'S of the site to have site translated (next time we will talk about translation quality...).
When GT Translate work fine (not perfect, but fine...) i can start to work on ranking, as long as it works this way do not think so....
So say me if GT Tanslate entrprise work (it means translate the site, and get high google rank, when possible) or not work (like now, with this strange loop....how a user will ever visit a page if a user is not indexed anywhere, but if user can't visit a page, the page cannot be translated, if the page is not translated it have a % flag so search engine not index him, but user can't find page..........).
Please solve the problem=let GT Translate work .

Hi,
You may manually edit the URLs, %20 is an encoded space in the URL. So better to take a time and manually make corrections for URLs to make them look nice or may be disable that feature.
Please post the indexed URLs which return 404 error.
Google bot doesn't index all the pages it finds, it may pass some time until it will analyze the found page and include it into the index. There is nothing I would like to joke with you. As I mentioned earlier language subdomain sites should be considered as a regular websites and you need to take care for them as you do for your main website.
You do not need to take any actions to make all your content be translated, just give it some time, so we can discover everything and translate.
Thank you!

Ok, some issues solved.
My unsatisfaction is still alive....:
- ok, i can edit some errors (example: the italian word "burro" means butter in english, mantequilla in spanish, was original translate as burro in spanish - but burro in spain means donkey, and in english was translated as "ass"....) oh, Edvard, i know english, spanish and french, how i can trust (because i MUST trust) in GTranslate for the other languages (my knowledge of japanese is less than zero...)
- I'm sure that mangiamando.com isn't the first site translated with GT Translate enterprise, so you must know how many days (as a raw average) are needed to complete the translations, and how many days more we will wait to se our site fully indexed.
Q.: could be Cloudflare keep slowly the process?

Hi,
We have made a solution to decrease our clients translation costs to minimum. We provide automatic translations and the quality cannot be perfect, however you may invite a translator to your website to make corrections. You may also order professional translations directly from your website.
There is no any specific time I can mention, it depends on your website and how much content do you have. It really depends on how much you care about your translated websites.
No, it is fine to use Cloudflare.
Thanks!

Hi,
i understand about translation quality. OK, fine.
However, I am still concerned about the timing of translation of the site and, more, the indexing process.
You make and submit the sitemap of en.mangiamando.com, de.mangiamando.com, fr.mangiamando.com, etc...?
If your answer is no, why? i can take in charge the subission if you send me a xml sitemap, so the indexing process become faster. (i understand that until the site is not fully translated, be carefully with sitemap).
You know that the API solutions (like GT Translate PRO, or SEF Translate, JA Multilingual) permit to webmasters to create and submit the complete sitemap, so, in less than a week the site is indexed and visits grow up fast. Today, remenber, start the third week after our submission of GT Translate Enterprise, and we still are unknown in all the 7 languages translated.
This is no good, if you dont believe this, try to write in your pre sales docs :" Hey, you have to spend at least a month to see almost everything translated, but we do not know, it depends ...- and for SEO, you must have care and patience..." and wait how many new customers you catch....
I can start some ranking efforts (directories, links, and more) but i need to be sure that all (at least 90%) its allright.
It's a Key issue, we plan to insert the chinese and russian translation, but i have to wait.....
In practical terms, what can I do with a multilingual site if you can not index it in the search engines?
Today this is it!!!
Have you a sitemap done?

Giovanni, we provide translations. You should take care of SEO and indexing and everything else yourself. We made the process as easy as possible.
If you are having problems with the translation, please let me know.

Edvard says:
"You should take care of SEO and indexing and everything else yourself. "
How??????
Give me a xml sitemap (or one for each language)!!!!
Or suggest me a way to submit my site without a sitemap.
I need a real answer, not words, EXPLAIN ME HOW I HAVE TO DO TO SUMBIT en. de. fr. es. ja. pt. ja. nl. subdomains? (please, please, not talk about SEO rank, talk ONLY ABOUT INDEXING).
You host the subdomains translated, what hell i can do by myself?
Excuse me, but I'm really bewildered...

Hello.
Excuse that I interfere in the conversation. I'm a customer and I'm using Enterprise too. My website have over 28000 pages indexed in google and most of those pages are served by GTranslate.
How did I do?
Simple. I have a sitemap for each language. And, of course, I regularly update the sitemaps and send them to google.
- http://casinobonuscenter.com/sitemaps/nl/sitemap.xml
- http://casinobonuscenter.com/sitemaps/sv/sitemap.xml
and so on.
Its very important to create and send sitemaps to google, but google will index the pages based on some criteria like page authority, page rank, SEO, page content, page visits....
I can suggest you to also use twitter and similar services and post there your pages. When I have a new page I automatically post the url in twitter and Google indexes that url within one hour in average.

hello,
i know criteria you write, but most of are for page ranking, not for indexing.
I use joomla and xmap component for creating sitemap.
how you created xml sitemap?
Say me how and i solve 90% of my problem.
Twitter, social, Google plus, are used for new page, the problem is on the past pages, i dont think to make more than 5000 tweets in 8 languages....

Hi,
we work with joomla 2.5.x and we use xmap component to generate xml sitemap to send to google.
Xmap don't see your subdomains, so if you konw another joomla extension that built xml sitemap including translated subdomains, let me know.

Hello,
there is a html sitemap (one for each language).
links are:
http://en.mangiamando.com/sitemap
http://nl.mangiamando.com/sitemap
http://de.mangiamando.com/sitemap
http://es.mangiamando.com/sitemap
http://pt.mangiamando.com/sitemap
http://fr.mangiamando.com/sitemap
http://ja.mangiamando.com/sitemap
These have always been there from the beginning.
But with a html sitemap I do not pay anything, I NEED XML SITEMAP!!! ONE FOR EACH SUBDOMAIN.
I'm trying some sitemap generator on line, the only ones can do xml outside our server: i try with en.mangiamando.com, with these results:
- indexed pages: 2661 (????????) in italian, with xmap, i submitted 580 urls.....
- borken links (404 error): 63
- pages with % in url: more than 500.
- time to create sitemap: 3h 45min.
If you want i send via mail the xml sitemap generated (or html or txt). So you can see.
Even if I could optimize the on line process, i cant submit to google a lot of garbage mixed with gold.
I also tried another online generator for de.mangiamando.com with similar results (the free version is limited to 500 pages, i got almost 300 %flags in urls, and 8 broken link. This is faster, but it cost 19$/month.... and i will spend a lot of hour every time i publish an article.......
Ohh, i'm really tired......
Really.
Please help me........help.....soon

Hi Giovanni,
I can see about 600 pages on your sitemap. Is that all the pages or you have more?
It really doesn't matter to have a separate XML sitemap if you have this HTML sitemap on your website.
Can you post some statistics for your original domain? Do you use Google Webmaster Tools?
Thank you!

Hi,
the pages are 558 (518 indexed).
Time to index: with sitemap (i saw with another ext) 28h, with GTranslate more than 21 days to get 2% indexed....DOESN'T MATTER? I still waiting....
Ask exatly you want, and send request by mail and i will provide (quickly ) all the info.

Hi Giovanni,
Everything is OK, you just need to give some more time to search engines to index your translated pages.
You cannot do anything to make the process faster.
Thank you!

Hi.
To create XML sitemaps we are using a software from inspyder.com ( http://www.inspyder.com/products/Sitema ... fault.aspx ). But probably you can also use a plugin or a service specially designed for joomla.
You are right about the twitter usage. Of course you don't need to make 5000 tweets. By the way I visited your twitter timeline and that's exactly what I meant: every time you publish a post on your page you need to post at twitter too, so search engines will find your new url faster. (Urls on different languages will be crawled too when the SE visit your new post if you have a link to each langage in your original post).
I think you are in the right way. All you need is patience.
